THE APPRENTICE

WRITTEN BY JEFFERSON LEWIS

PRODUCED BY PIERRE GENDRON & LAURENCE GENDRON

Graduating from a posh WASP private school where she was bullied relentlessly for not fitting in, Ashley Zakuta is forced by her father to find a summer job before heading off to University.  Reluctantly she finds a job in a rundown travel agency, only to discover that her boss, Leo, a taciturn man in his 50’s is actually a professional assassin with a convoluted but strict ethical code about his targets. She blackmails him into teaching her the trade, and proves to have an astonishing gift for the assassin’s trade... But Leo’s lessons are as much about human nature, morality and questioning the conventional as they are about killing and not being killed, and by the time summer is over Ashley is on her way to becoming an adult.
